Docsy / Editorial and Tool Standards

OUR STANDARDS

Useful guidance, honest limitations and tested tools.

Docsy content exists to help visitors complete a real task. These standards explain how tools and guides are prepared, reviewed and corrected.

Original, task-first guidance

Guides are written for specific file and utility problems. We avoid filler, copied instructions and claims that a conversion is perfect when formats work differently.

Functional checks

Before publication, we check that tool pages open, inputs and controls are available, downloads use the stated format, and related links lead to the correct destination.

Limitations shown clearly

Browser, file-format and device limits are explained near the relevant tool. Local and external processing are labelled so visitors can make an informed choice.

Corrections and updates

Guides and tool notes are updated when behavior changes or a clearer explanation is needed. Material errors are corrected instead of being left as known problems.

Report an error
