Local file processing

Supported local tools process files inside your browser. Docsy does not operate an upload server for those files, and file contents are not added to analytics or advertising systems.

Analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you select Allow analytics. It may receive page visits, device and browser information, approximate location, searches and tool events—not file contents or values entered into tools.

Advertising

Docsy uses Google AdSense to display and measure advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device information and similar technologies to select, limit and measure ads. File contents and values entered into Docsy tools are not provided to AdSense.

Browser storage

Docsy uses local browser storage for your analytics choice, favorites and recent tools. You can remove these by clearing site data in your browser.

External services

The URL Shortener sends the URL you submit to TinyURL. Video, image-to-text and QR-scanner tools may download processing code or language data from jsDelivr while selected files remain in the browser. The YouTube transcript helper opens the video URL you provide on YouTube but keeps pasted transcript text in your browser. Links and email actions use your selected provider.

Retention and choices

Docsy does not retain files processed locally. Analytics and advertising information is handled under Google's services and consent settings. You can decline Docsy analytics, adjust available advertising choices, or clear docsy.ca site data in your browser.
