What this tool is best for
- A quick reflex game on a phone, tablet or desktop.
- Practising timing against deliveries that become slightly faster.
- Trying to beat a personal high score saved on the same device.
Tips for a better result
- Watch the ball rather than the button—the centre of the golden zone earns six runs.
- Use sound for delivery and contact cues, or switch it off at any time.
- On a computer, Space or Enter can be faster than moving the pointer.
Know before you start
- This is a timing game, not a full cricket simulation.
- High scores are stored only in the current browser and are not a global leaderboard.
- Clearing browser site data removes the saved high score.
Common problems and fixes
- If the game is too fast, begin a new innings and watch the first deliveries carefully.
- If sound is unavailable, interact with the page once and check that the device is not muted.
- If the canvas looks small, rotate the phone to portrait or close browser zoom.
Frequently asked questions
How are runs scored?
A perfect centre hit scores six; progressively wider timing scores four, two or one. Missing the strike zone scores zero.
How many balls are in one innings?
Every innings contains exactly ten deliveries, so the highest possible score is 60.
Is my score shared?
No. The best score is stored only in your browser on the device you are using.
