For a website, include the complete address beginning with https://.
Keep the content short when possible; dense codes can be harder to scan at small sizes.
Test the downloaded code on more than one phone before printing many copies.

Know before you start

The QR code stores exactly what you enter; Docsy does not validate or shorten the destination.
A printed code needs clear contrast and enough empty space around its edges.
Changing the destination later requires a new QR code because this is a static code.

Common problems and fixes

If a code will not scan, try shorter content and choose the Large size.
Make sure a web address includes https:// and does not contain accidental spaces.
Avoid stretching, cropping, or placing the PNG on a low-contrast background.

No. It is a static QR code and keeps working as long as the encoded text or destination remains valid.

What format is downloaded?

Docsy downloads the QR code as a PNG image.

Does Docsy save what I enter?
