Know before you start

This is a local colour-based remover, not an AI segmentation model.
Busy scenery, shadows, hair against a similar colour and transparent objects may need a dedicated image editor.
A replacement colour is for general design use and does not make a passport photo compliant.

Common problems and fixes

If the subject disappears, lower the tolerance or tap a different background area.
If a halo remains, raise tolerance slightly and increase edge softness.
For a complex background, photograph the subject again against a plain, evenly lit surface.
