Know before you start

The tool extracts text and spacing; it does not reliably reconstruct complex table cells, merged columns, formulas, charts, or formatting.
Scanned image-only pages contain no embedded text and require OCR.
Every PDF page becomes a separate worksheet.

Common problems and fixes

If the workbook is mostly empty, confirm that text can be selected in the original PDF.
If values appear in one column, use Excel's Text to Columns feature or clean the sheet manually.
For a difficult table, extract one page at a time and verify the result.

Frequently asked questions

Will tables be perfectly preserved?

No. Simple row-like text may transfer well, but complex tables usually need cleanup.

Can it read scanned PDFs?

Not by itself. Scanned pages need OCR before text can be extracted.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. Extraction and workbook creation run locally in your browser.
