What this tool is best for
- Exporting diagrams, text-heavy pages, forms, and screenshots with sharp edges.
- Converting only selected PDF pages instead of the entire document.
- Creating lossless page images locally in the browser.
Tips for a better result
- Start with Standard resolution for ordinary sharing and use High for detailed text.
- Use a page selection to avoid downloading images you do not need.
- Choose Very high only when the extra detail is necessary because the files and memory use will be larger.
Know before you start
- PNG files are usually larger than JPG files, especially for photographic pages.
- Links, selectable text, forms, and other interactive PDF features become part of a flat image.
- High-resolution conversion of many pages can use significant browser memory.
Common problems and fixes
- Use page numbers such as 1, 3-5 and keep them within the PDF's page count.
- If some PNGs do not download, allow multiple downloads for Docsy and try again.
- If conversion is slow or stops, choose Standard resolution or process fewer pages at a time.
